How NOT to get Sued as an Entrepreneur!
Never in a million years would I have thought that I would have to question the integrity of anyone that I’ve ever worked with at any point of me being an entrepreneur. Typically if I get a bad feeling, vibe or the energy is off in any situation that’s enough for me to walk away from any business transaction, and trust me…after 20 plus years in business you will definitely get those feelings at some point.
I spent some time combing through my YouTube Channel The Winning Brand to make sure this was a topic that I haven't covered before, but clearly I have. Entrepreneur Integrity is starting to seem like a lost art. It shouldn’t have to be stated that as entrepreneurs we should take care of our customers and colleagues with the upmost care and respect. Simply put, because it’s the right thing to do AND we should want that same treatment in return.
Never is it okay to take for granted that someone doesn’t know the law that they won’t hire someone to take care of that for them. There are (2) people that I've worked very closely with, ironically enough on the same project with and as it turns out, not only their integrity but their character as well is now being challenged and is in question. At this time I want to say that I have since I’ve been notfied about the misconduct of these (2) “business owners”. I have since removed both of their shows fro the podcast. I don’t condone the actions or either one of these characters.

***UPDATE*** Since this post ReeJade Richmond has spoken out to tell her side of the story. She admitted to lying about being an Attorney and says that she is working on rectifying the situation, if you are requesting a refund she is honoring those requests. She’s also deeply remorseful for the way that this has been portrayed for other black female entrepreneurs.
